Preface to the new format of the 'Woman, Life, Freedom' and the 'Women's Arab Spring 1.2 Revolt'
As you know I've been in Cryfreedom.net reporting about the topic 'Perpetrators exposed' since long and a lot and actually I've been a women's rights activist for even longer, since 2000 to be excact but... I'm only one person meaning I'm not only the founder of Cryfreedom.net but also the journalist-in-chief as well as the editor-in-chief. And with also for me a day only counting 24/7 I realised I cannot keep up with all anylonger and have to make choices so this is what I decided:
- since the very beginning of the 'Woman, Life, Freedom' movement in Iran, a torch has been set aflame after the killing of the 22-year-old Jina Mahsa Amini on September 16, 2022, and it being more and more succesfull despite the heinous crackdowns of the regime and with every day passing nearing it's goal: to liberate Iran from its oppressors and especially the regime as a total. And not only that but more and more it's also inspiring girls and women, especially in the Middle East, to also stand up for their rights and against their oppressors and dictators.
- That's why I decided to shift my attention completely to their struggles and fights and re-name the 'Perpetrators exposed' to 'The Women's Arabic Spring 1.2'. It was actually the international women’s conference on the experiences of women’s movements with the motto <In the footsteps of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi> in Beirut from August 18 to August 19, 2023 that opened my eyes.
- It means that I'll need some time to give this its place in the magazine and that the Iranian women-led revolution will be the center of it and all news from the women-led struggles, fights and uprisals in the Middle East will be its 'co-flag carriers for freedom' including the 'Afghanistan Women's Resistence' and all other news from other Arabic countries. The lay-out of the 'The Women's Arabic Spring 1.2' page will look a bit different and you'll see how it looks like when I'll publish the first issue on September 15, 2023 or earlier and from then on it will be updated every 2 weeks. The Iranian 'Women, Life, Freedom' section will be updated every week.
Concerning the West: women in general don't care anylonger, whether it happens in their backyard or abroad. The solidarity among themselves, let alone the will to fight for their rights has long gone as is the '#Me Too' movement. So why should I waste more of my time where the 'Woman, Life, Freedom' movement countries are calling for our support?!
Long live Free Iran and the Women's Arab Spring 1.2 Revolt
