Opinion by Gino d'Artali
Dear reader,
As you know I often write a few opinion lines concerning news about the
situation in Iran. But since a while something nagged at me as if saying
'that's not enough. You need, no, must be more clear and even more
straightforward to express your opinion about the situation as be in
Iran. So I decided to write a 2-weekly, and if need be, a weekly opinion
about it. this is thus the first one:
But... the now first one took a while to be published even when I was
writing about it on an almost daily basis and it was ready to be
published about a week ago but then the news of the killing of 9-year
old Kian Pirfalak also hit me like a sledgehammer on the head and in the
heart. For days and still I was and am off-balance. But Kian wouldn't
have wanted the world to stand still but to go, and especially the
Freedom fight in Iran! So I dedicate this first opinion piece to Kian:
One thing is for sure: the dictatorschip is trying all its can to stop
the people of really all kinds, for starters the women who are leading
the 'Women, Life, Freedom' uprisal, (especially female) students,
teachers/activists and artists; and workers and retirees and so much
more people and this of late especially by unleashing a hanging spree of
people arrested and accused of <waging war against God> and/or
<corruption on earth> of which the sentence is excecution be it based on
biased trials and denied defending lawyers. This to create fear of which
they hope, and time will tell, if they succeed in this. So far it seems
it does but thank God not alltogether because the protests continue and
it is especially the Molavi Abdulhamid, the Sunni Friday prayer leader
of Zahedan who kind of became the 'spokesman'/representative if you
want, of the Iranian protesters against Khamenei's dictatorschip. So
despite the terror the regime is spreading I don't think they'll succeed
to crush the protesters.
Having said that however we all know torture is one 'weapon' they use
against the Iranian people held captive in mostly by the regime kept
secret prisons, but they are often by shias controlled mosques. Still,
to give only one example of how the regime does not believe that there's
only one Allah and Islam and they show no mercy, not to anyone who
raises her/his voice against the regime , including <<Tortured Sunni
Baluch Cleric in Solitary Confinement for Months. Well-respected Sunni
Baluch cleric Molavi Abdulmajid Moradzahi has been languishing in
solitary confinement for the past four months without any formal
charges. The 63-year-old man, known for his influential role as an
advisor to Molavi Abdulhamid, the country's most prominent Sunni cleric,
was arrested on January 30 during anti-government protests in the
restive south-eastern city of Zahedan. The Baluch Activists Campaign,
which monitors rights violations in Sistan and Baluchistan province,
reported that Moradzahi is being subjected to torture.
But let's be loud and clear: probably hundreds of imprisoned protesters
and activists are being tortured at this very moment when you are
reading this.
But concerning 'our' because he is one of us the respectable Molavi
Abdulmajid Moradzahi read this:
https://iranwire.com/en/news/117329-tortured-sunni-baluch-cleric-in-solitary-confinement-for-months/
Khamenei, and I'm sure he's behind it having given the order to unleash
a biological warfare against schoolgirls and in this of late also
poisoning to death of some of women, especially political and children's
rights activists, who were arrested and in prison. Again and doing so
the goal is to spread fear, also among the young and yes they are women
but still very young and thus very vulnerable he thinks he'll succeed in
doing so, also because it are the parents and especially the mothers who
are the most afraid by now. Time only can tell if, Insh'Allah, this kind
of terror will stop because it's not reaching its by Khamenei expected
goal: to stop the female students to raise their voice and continue
their protesting against him.
And there are the hijab controls on universities; restaurants; in cars
and beaches by specially assigned and motorized patrols.
If the goal is to get people off the streets they're maybe succeeding
but...
<You are scaring us with death as if we are alive... Forever sacrifice
for the future of Iran.> Mansoureh Sagvand, former police-officer, wrote
her resignation on Instagram. Knowing she was about to be killed she
kept the banner for a free Iran high and died as a martyr.

Child labor:
Unfortunately but yes and Khamenei knows this too well, when one keeps
the people poor one probably keeps the people quiet because they have
children's mouths to feed. Alas, the parents are so driven in a corner
that they cannot but accept that their children go on the streets to
help get at least some earnings to bring back home and with it some
bread on the shelf. Forget about the butter. Little is more than nothing
they, and most likely their children also, having become 'streetwise',
are thing.
Journalists:
In the West there is the saying: <Don't schoot me, I'm only the
messenger>. In Iran obviously the mullah's and their 'mercenaries' (basi
and irgc) fear objective journalism so much that they also target them
as being writing <propaganda against the state>. The message of the
United Nations - Freedom of speech and press* - is obvously understood
as 'our (the mullah's) words against yours are always the only right
words giving us the right to prosecute you anytime/anyplace and our
verdicts the only right ones.

which Iran signed!
Zahedan:
Zahedan: We all know by now where Zahedan is: the capital of province
Sīstan va Baluchestan where thousands have been arrested and hundreds
killed in the regime's crackdown on the women-led revolution 'Women,
Life, Freedom' and today it is especially the honourable Sunni Baluch
cleric Molavi Abdulhamid, the Sunni Baluch cleric Friday prayer leader
of Zahedan who, I daresay, speaks up for the Iranian people who are
suffering in many ways because of the dictatorship. His friday sermons
are so much more than 'a thorn in the eye/flesh' of the dictator.
Personally I more than applaud this good man who knows Allah is on his
side too, like thousands of Iranians who he gives hope and courage
through his friday sermons.
His last friday sermon was where he said:
<<Iran's Top Sunni Cleric Tells the regime <We are happy that advanced
weapons are unveiled for the defense, but we would be happier if,
instead of weapons, the stomachs of these people were fed - the people
who are shouting in the streets every day,> Molavi said.
....
In his Friday sermon, June 9, 2023, Molavi drew attention to the
hardships suffered by Iranian villagers and those living on the cities'
outskirts. <As long as the Iranian people experience this pain, their
lament won't be silenced. The voice of the nation will persist until you
address the people's suffering. Our greatest sorrows are national, not
regional,> the 76-year-old cleric said. He said that pressure is being
exerted on him to cease his criticism of the Islamic Republic, adding,
<If you wish to put an end to the complaints, the solution lies in
alleviating the people's pain.> >>
Read more here about that sermon here:
https://iranwire.com/en/news/117371-irans-top-sunni-cleric-tells-regime-to-address-peoples-suffering/
By the way, Iran is about to close a nuclear deal with Russia but...when
they'll shoot themselves in the foot and unfortunaly the Iranian people
will be the ones who'll have to pay the price when the West will put
more sanctions on Iran.
Closing (for now because a new opinion piece will be published in one or
latest two weeks):
Since about 3 months the name of Jina Mahsa Amini keeps popping up when
the international press reports about Iran and some journalists even
write about the <Mahsa revolution> when referring really to the 'Women,
Life, Freedom' revolution, but they're are right be it that it's both
together like women and men are standing together to 'till the fall of
khamenei (and by the way: the international press keeps calling it a
'movement' but they're wrong! It's a straightforward and clear
Revolution where the 'Woman Life Freedom' brave people will win when
they finally will overthrow the dictatorship. So Revolutionsts of Iran:
keep fighting 'till the end and the flag of victory is raised. Having
said that we all know when she was heinously murdered, namely 22
September, 2022 and that date one year later nearing now the time has
come to commemorate Jina Mahsa Amini not only in mourning but also and
even morseso in full grandour.
That's why I call people worldwide forward to participate at a, for now,
virtual event with poetry and art to commemorate I'd say 'the
sister/daughter of the free Iran' revolution like Nelson 'Madiba'
Mandela was the 'father of a free South-Africa'.
And let us commemorate Kian Pirfalak, heinously killed by the irgc. I
myself have been very restless and in grief and pain too since he was
killed and still am and to hopefully create awareness among the Iranian
people and the world's communities and support for the left behind I
wrote a to him dedicated special section of cryfreedom.net. A little
help maybe but as my mother thaught me: 'No you have mi figlio
(translated: my son), yes you can get concerning creating awareness
about how heinous the Iranian dictatorship is and in the specially made
documentary <The tulips> by Iranian filmmaker Farzan Deljou in which
Kian's mother says <Kian, we excist for you untill we succeed.>.
