opinion 30 - 15 June, 2023
Dear reader,
I know I'm putting a lot on your plate but just imagine what the Muslim
women in Iran have on their plate having to endure the extreme hardship
of a dictatorial regime of Khamenei, the judiciary, irgc, basi and the
mullahs and too often don't even have something on their plate to
strengthen them in their resistance so please bear with them and spare
some of your time, thoughts and solidarity
- The siege on female students by the (in plainclothes) IRGC who
refuse to wear the Hijab. The Maghna'eh.
But the resistence is even more growing against the mandatory Hijab
where the students are protesting and shouting: 'Open Sesame because we
students will not give in to your demand to wear the Maghna'eh, (a black
cloth covering their head, forehead, chin, and chest).' Still,
(plainclothes) security agents backed up by the heads of some
universities, have been threathening when the head of the Security
Department at Tehran’s University of Art intimidated the students with a
<strange threat.> In a meeting, he reportedly told the students they
would crack down on them with DShK (heavy machine guns). And on Saturday
morning, June 17, 2023, security guards prevented female students of the
University of Art from leaving the dormitories without wearing the
maghna'eh. Even those who did not intend to attend university were
prevented from leaving. However, the students were later allowed to
leave but threatened that they would be investigated upon return. And
when students are protesting on campus they prevented the students
during sit-ins from using restroom facilities and accessing drinking
water. Additionally, plainclothes agents stationed outside the
university prevented the delivery of food and water to the students.
Also more and more students get arrested and in many cases brought to
undisclosed or 'secret' prisons but we all know that they are often
taken to shia mullah's mosques deprived of having the possibillity to
call family let alone a lawyer and often mentally and/or physically
tortured or being threatened to be raped.
One thinks back on Tehran March 8, 1979, international womens day, when
Iranian women protested against the mandatory Hijab. Now, guards and or
IRGC and or Khamenei may think they will win this war but Jina Mahsa
Amini (Allah has her soul) will not have died in vain meaning the
basijis may think that ' even our big brother will catch you' referering
to The Students Uprising of July 9th, 1999 and their heinous violence
will do the work they are thinking wrong!
- And writing about Jina Mahsa Amini who was killed by a basij for
apparently wearing her Hijab wrongfully:
one hears or reads again and again about attempts to desegrate, destroy
and/or remove Jina Mahsa Amini's tomb and if those attemps fail to
prevent supporting people of Jina Mahsa Amini and prevent them by
visiting her grave and pay their respects. To also show their respect
but moreso their protests against desegrations and attemps to destroy or
remove her grave independent businesses in the Kurdish town of Saqqez
initiated a coordinated shutdown on Tuesday, in response to
modifications in the Aichi cemetery targeting the tomb of Mahsa Amini.
Videos recorded on June 13, 2023 showed a significant number of closed
shops in Amini's hometown.
And also more and more international cities such as Ottawa and Toronto -
Canada, Vienna - Austria, Etterbeek (Brussels) - Belgium, the Villemin
Garden in Paris - France. pay their respect and tribute by naming
streets and parks after her.

so it all means that yes the pressure on people revolting against the
regime is immense but I'm absolutely convinced that in the end the flag
of Victory will be raised high.
- Armed uprising.
<I will kill, I will kill, whoever killed my brother,> <Kurds,
Baluch, and Azeri, freedom and equality,> and <Death to Khamenei.>
un-armed protesters shouted by the thousands after a plot to assassinate
the outspoken Sunni cleric Molavi Abdulhamid had been foiled. The plot
was, who else, setup by the irgc who else, and to enrage the people of
Zahedan even more the security forces attacked the Sunni Mosque and Rask
Seminary in an attempt to arrest his father. Local Sunni cleric Molavi
Abdul Ghaffar Naqshbandi said on Twitter that security forces attacked
the Sunni Mosque and Rask Seminary in an attempt to arrest his father,
another prominent cleric. He called upon local residents to block the
roads in Rask to obstruct the movements of the Islamic Republic's
security forces. Sunni cleric Molavi Abdulhamid the 75-year-old cleric
said <As long as we have breath in our bodies, we will prioritize the
interests of the Iranian people, and we are prepared to face any threat
to our lives in pursuit of these interests,> he said, referring to the
assassination plot against him. Bottomline is the protesters want one
thing only: the fall of Khamenei and his regime.
And of late Kurdish guerillas have been taking up arms against the IRGC
in the highlands of the Kurdish city of Sarvabad on Tuesday June 12,
2023. The military wing of the Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK)
issued a statement claiming responsibility for an operation conducted in
response to IRGC attacks on the heights of Kosalan in Sarvabad. The
operation resulted in the death of a member of the Islamic Republic's
military forces, identified by multiple sources as an IRGC member.
The waiting now really is when other protesters, women, students,
labourers, retirees and others, Sunni or not but still faithfull to the
Islam but certainly not to the shia'ists interpretation of it which in
my opinion is a betrayal of the Islam, against the Khamenei regime also
will take up arms.

rejects this claim | The IRGC says it has inflicted heavy casualties on

statement by the East Kurdistan Defense Units, he said that no YRK
member has been killed in recent clashes. Chiako says the Islamic
Republic has placed the militarization of Kurdistan on its agenda
following the bankruptcy of its ideology, especially after the start of
the <Woman, Life, Freedom> protest movement.
<It is clear that the popular and social base of the Islamic Republic's
regime has weakened and that it's even gradually losing the trust of its
own forces, so it is trying to hold on its power by a show of force with
such operations,> Chiako says. <It's also trying, in various ways, to
turn the 'Woman, Life, Freedom' revolution into a purely security and
political issue in Kurdistan. Sometimes it even takes actions that aim
at provoking opposition Kurdish parties and pushing them into
ill-advised actions that opens the door to even more violent
suppression.>>

But whe're not done here:
<<security forces searched both male and female students using metal
detectors.
Iranwire - June 26, 2023
<<Students Face Physical Inspections, Threats during Exam Sessions
Security forces have disrupted the end-of-semester exam sessions in
Tehran's Allameh Tabatabai University, subjecting the students to
invasive physical searches and threatening women who did not strictly
abide by compulsory headscarf rules. Iran's Student Union Council said
on its Telegram channel that the university's security officers
<repeatedly disrupted the order> by taking pictures of students and
ordering strict adherence to hijab regulations. The examinees were
threatened that their answer sheets would be withheld if they failed to
comply, it added. According to testimonies from students, many women
were unable to attend the exam sessions on time because they were
subjected to intrusive searches under the pretext of physical
inspection. The Student Union Council wrote that the security forces
searched both male and female students using metal detectors. The
students were prevented from entering the exam rooms with metallic
objects, including belts. In recent months, the pressure on students has
intensified through increased disciplinary measures, punishments imposed
by the judicial system and heightened security measures in exam halls
and dormitories. This can be attributed, in part, to the students'
involvement in last year's nationwide protests. Many of those who
participated in rallies have been summoned and subsequently faced severe
penalties, including suspension or expulsion from university.>>

As I wrote above threats with DShK (heavy machine guns) but the irgc
seems to be in fear themselves too afraid as they are of a possible
armed uprising of teachers and students.

Late last night, in the middle of the night really, I all of a sudden
remembered how the German nazis during WW2 also tried to erase all that
were against the regime of the third reich which included also the
women, students and teachers, left-wing workers and retirees and last
but not least all who were not matching with the so-called 'arien blood'
like the Iranian regime today is trying to do exactly the same thing
meaning anybody who is against the regime's 'book of rules and incl. its
interpretation of the Islam' is not worth living. I know, it are hard
words but then again fact is fact and resistence the only answer.
