Unveiled And
Unbroken, Woman's Revolution In Iran
April 5 2023 – Preface.
Since seven months now I've been reporting about the 'Zan, Zendagi, Azadi' Revolution that started after Jina Mahsa Amani was murdered on September 20th. 2022 by the basij for apparently wearing her hijab wrongfully.
Now, the Holy Quran does not mandate wearing a hijab or headgear for Muslim women. Whatever is stated in the suras is only a directory because of absence of prescription of penalty or penance for not wearing hijab. The linguistic structure of verses supports this view the Iranian Court observes. In general it should also be observed that the only policionary- or judiciary power there are in case they want to correct a girl/woman not to wearing one is to talk with that person in trying to convince her to do wear one.
But again and again
and almost as if not respecting the Holy Quran themselves either the basij nor
the irgc are phisically trying to persuade a girl or woman to wear a hijab and
this all also and too often shooting with pellets at (girls- and women)
protesters or torturing arrested girls or women or yes, by even killing them
(which all the Holy Quran forbids). In any case, I've giving this a lot of
thought and to help, as an activist and journalist to help stop this
'witch-hunting' on girls and women and I decided to create a seperate serial
titled <witch-hunting> and from today on reporting about it as part of my 'Zan,
Zendagi, Azadi' reporting and support for the revolution.
