Preface/prayer by Gino d'Artali - Dear reader,
writing this we are November 15 2023 and almost 14 months after Jina
Amini was killed (on 16 September 2022) by a basiji for apparently
wearing her hijab wrongfully.
It ignited what is known now as the women-led 'Woman, Life, Freedom'
movement and what I and so many call the 'Jina revolution' when thousands if not hundreds of thousands of Iranian women
(and soon joined by men) rose to revolt against the mullahs' regime in a
heroic effort and struggle to overthrow it which has not happened yet
but as our sister Narges says: *Victory is not easy, but it is certain*

'Mother of a long and free Iran'
So yes, the 'Jina Amini revolution'
continues 'till the flag of victory is raised on the Azadi tower in
Tehran.
But... 'till then and also after let us pay tribute to the brave girls
and women who laid down their lives to realize a future-free Iran devoid
of dictators and pray for their souls now with Allah.
And to my and our grief the list is (too) long. Because in the period
2022-'23 and untill January 18 2023 the regime has killed 80 girls and
women defying the clerics' rules and the regime but ruthless as the
regime is since then another 4 have been heinously killed by the
mullahs' regime for standing up for their right to be free by refusing
to wear a hijab:

Aylar Haghi (24), Zahra Hatami, an 8th grader was expelled from school
for three days for wearing nail polish. Zahra Hatami was afraid of going
home to tell her father. Some reports indicate that she was afraid of
being forcibly married after being expelled from school. So, she jumped
off the roof of a half-built building near the school and Armita
Geravand (17) and let's not forget Roya Zakeri (31) who was
viciously brutalized by the Hijab patrols for insulting the mullahs'
supreme leader and locked up in a mental hospital since October 15 2023.
